President's Welcome

                                 Andrew Braverman, President

Andrew, along with his wife Jen and their two children, Ethan and Jonathan, has been a member of Beth El since 2016. Both Ethan and Jonathan attended FJLC, and celebrated their B'nei Mitzvot at Beth El, and Ethan was confirmed in 2024.

Since joining the synagogue board in 2022 and serving as Vice President from 2023 to 2025, Andrew has demonstrated a deep commitment to Beth El’s vision and values. Coming from a secular background, Andrew once found it challenging to integrate into synagogue life elsewhere—but the warm, heimish atmosphere and remarkable community at Beth El changed all that. Inspired by this experience, Andrew is dedicated to ensuring the short- and long-term growth of Beth El so that our community can continue to thrive spiritually, educationally, and socially.

Andrew is especially excited to welcome Rabbi Ami Monson as our new religious leader. He looks forward to working closely with Rabbi Monson, our synagogue officers, board members, and the entire community to build a sustainable and vibrant future for Beth El.

Beyond his synagogue involvement, Andrew is a senior systems engineering leader at Pure Storage. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Rider University, a Master of Business and Science in Information Technology from Rutgers University, and a Doctor of Management in Strategic Leadership with a focus on complex systems from Thomas Jefferson University.

Andrew is committed to transparency and open dialogue as we chart Beth El’s path forward. He encourages all members to share their thoughts and concerns at any time—your voice is valued and essential to our shared future.
