How to light Hanukkah candles

• Place the candles in the Hanukkiah (Menorah) from right to left
• Light them from left to right, always lighting the newest candle first using the "shamash" (helper candle) which is lit first and used to light the others.
• Add a new candle each night to the left side, and light them from the leftmost candle to the rightmost candle.
• Remember to light your Hanukkah candles prior to your Shabbat candles.

• New candle each night: Add a new candle on the leftmost side each night. 
• Candle placement: Place candles in the Hanukkiah (Menorah) from right to left. 
• Lighting order: Light the candles from left to right. 
• Shamash: Use the "shamash" (helper candle) to light the other candles.
