About Our Community

Congregation Beth El is a Conservative, egalitarian congregation committed to Jewish values and practices.  Beth El strives to inspire its congregants toward continued growth and commitment to Judaism and all facets of Jewish life.  We provide a quality education for all of our members and their families, through the teaching of basic skills, knowledge and values.

Beth El seeks to engage its members in an ongoing relationship between the synagogue and the home.  The congregation is committed to Tikkun Olam (repair of the world) through Gemilut Chasadim (deeds of loving-kindness), Tzedakah and Tefillah (prayer).  Our members take an active role in the Jewish community and the community at large.  We are a warm, caring community which encourages fulfillment in Jewish life through spiritual, educational and social activities.

Congregation Beth El is a leading center of Jewish life in Bucks County. We have developed a range of programs and activities that involve all our members in the dynamics of Jewish life today.

We reach out to people of all ages to bring them closer to the beauty and mystery of Judaism. Whether through educational or social programs, we have fun and enjoy the family feeling we have developed among our many members. From learning Hebrew to the annual barbecue, a trip to New York or our monthly Family Shabbat, there is something for everyone at Beth El.

Experiencing our stunning Sanctuary Wing is seeing our community’s generosity, hope, and faith in the generations to come.  We dedicated our gorgeous new wing in the spring of 2009 after raising three million dollars for its construction.

This impressive structure, built of steel, masonry, and glass, strikes a modern but welcoming balance.  Inside, there are spaces ranging from the grand to the intimate, creating appropriate environments for large and small social gatherings, lectures, educational programs and, of course, worship and meditation.  The Sanctuary Wing includes a sweeping lobby, an intimate rotunda, The Women of Beth El's Judaica shop (which sells a wide variety of gift items) and a social hall, along with our beautiful sanctuary.

Awash in natural light from the large banks of windows, our Sanctuary Wing is a celebration of our Jewish heritage and a testament to the exciting future of Congregation Beth El.
