Hazak presents Criminal Justice: A search for the truth in a fair manner with Bucks County District Attorney Matthew Weintraub
Sunday, November 4 10:15 am - Brunch & Program
Despite misperceptions to the contrary, prosecutors are not bound to seek convictions. Rather, the highest ethical standards obligate prosecutors to seek justice by employing vast discretion in a fair manner to all who come into contact with the criminal justice system. We will discuss what it truly means to seek justice as a prosecutor by providing real case illustrations. Hopefully, this will stimulate a vigorous discussion on what constitutes "Justice" in the context of criminal law.
